Chain coupling is a tool used to connect two shafts at both ends in order to transmit mechanical power. Couplings usually do not allow separation between two shafts when operating, but nowadays there are couplings that have limited torque so they can slip or break when the torque limit is exceeded. The main purpose of a coupling is to join two rotating parts.
